AI & LLM Usage Disclaimer
Last updated: February 12, 2026
Codilla uses artificial intelligence and large language models ("AI/LLMs") to power its product development pipeline. This disclaimer explains the nature, limitations, and risks of AI-generated content on the platform.
1. No Guarantee of Accuracy
AI-generated outputs — including code, specifications, architecture decisions, market analysis, and any other content — are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, or error-free. AI models generate responses based on statistical patterns in training data and may produce incorrect or misleading information.
2. Known Limitations
- Hallucinations: AI models may generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect information, including fabricated references, non-existent APIs, or incorrect technical details.
- Outdated information: AI models have training data cutoffs and may not reflect the latest libraries, frameworks, security patches, or best practices.
- Context limitations: AI models operate within context windows and may lose track of earlier information in long conversations or complex projects.
- Bias: AI outputs may reflect biases present in training data, including cultural, geographic, or technical biases.
- Inconsistency: the same prompt may produce different outputs at different times.
3. Not Professional Advice
AI-generated content on Codilla does not constitute professional advice of any kind. Specifically:
- Not legal advice: AI-generated compliance assessments, terms, or legal analyses are informational only and do not replace consultation with a qualified attorney.
- Not financial advice: market analyses, pricing suggestions, and revenue projections are estimates only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.
- Not medical advice: if your product involves health or medical data, all AI outputs must be reviewed by qualified medical professionals.
- Not security advice: automated security scans and AI-generated security recommendations supplement — but do not replace — professional security audits.
4. Code Quality and Security
AI-generated code may:
- Contain bugs, logic errors, or edge cases that are not handled.
- Include security vulnerabilities such as injection flaws, authentication bypasses, or insecure defaults.
- Use deprecated libraries, outdated APIs, or incompatible dependency versions.
- Inadvertently include patterns that resemble copyrighted or licensed code.
- Not conform to your organization's coding standards or architectural requirements.
Codilla includes automated security scanning (SAST) and testing as part of its pipeline, but these tools have known limitations and cannot detect all vulnerabilities.
5. Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and auditing all AI-generated content before using it in any environment, especially production. This includes:
- Code review by qualified developers before deployment.
- Comprehensive testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) of all generated code.
- Professional security audits for applications handling sensitive data.
- Legal review of any compliance-related outputs.
- Verification of all factual claims, statistics, and technical details.
6. Intellectual Property Considerations
- AI-generated outputs may inadvertently resemble existing copyrighted works, open-source code, or patented methods.
- You are responsible for ensuring that AI-generated content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
- We recommend running generated code through license compliance tools before distribution.
- The intellectual property status of AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction. Consult a legal professional for guidance.
7. Third-Party AI Providers
Codilla uses third-party AI services, primarily Anthropic's Claude API, to generate content. Your use of the Service is also subject to Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy and terms of service. We do not control the AI models' outputs and cannot guarantee their behavior.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codilla shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or costs arising from:
- Decisions made based on AI-generated content.
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated outputs.
- Security vulnerabilities in AI-generated code.
- Intellectual property claims related to AI-generated content.
- Business losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated market analysis or projections.
For full liability terms, see our Terms of Service, Section 12.
9. Continuous Improvement
We are continuously working to improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs. This includes updating AI models, refining prompts, improving automated testing, and incorporating user feedback. However, no AI system is infallible, and the limitations described in this disclaimer apply to all current and future AI features.
